Kansas requires 60 hours of pre-license training for all candidates in two 30 hour courses. This course is Principles of Real Estate.
We have a limited number of seats available for in person attendees. Additional students will attend online via the Zoom video conferencing platform. This provides online students with a live classroom experience with the ability to see and hear the instructor and other students in the class room or online. Kansas real estate license exam. The 30-hour “Real Estate Practice” course is also required prior to submitting an application for licensure. This class includes required attendance on 8 nights; March 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 21, & 22.. All classes are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Upon completion of the course, KRES will issue a certificate which must be shown to the test center manager. Both parts of the license exam must be passed within 12 months of the course completion date. The application for a license must be received by the Commission within six months of the date the exam is passed. If parts of the exam are passed on different dates, the six-month limit applies to the earliest date.
